Methods of using PVA packets when fishing for carp

With PVA packets, you can use different tactics for catching carp feeding that will give you an advantage in relation to other fishermen. Only sometimes the use of additional feed in the PVA bag will not always encourage carp to bite. Fish may have already seen these neat bags of food on the bottom of your pond and fears them, especially if you have already been caught in the equipment using PVA PVA bags or nets.

Methods of using PVA packets when fishing for carp

In this article I will discuss the new methods of feeding with a packet of PVA. Using new methods of presenting your bait with the food on the bottom of the pond, you will achieve some uniqueness compared to other methods, and perhaps you will be able to deceive the cautious carp.

Let’s make PVA bag swim

This tactic is a presentation of the bait in a clean area among the seaweed with a little scattered around food. It would look less suspicious carp, unlike the conventional method of using PVA package when the food is tightly clustered near the bait.

I often use this tactic when I feel that the classic complementary feeding scare cautious fish. The use of PVA materials requires great accuracy when casting, your accessories should get exactly the place you want, because you will have a couple of seconds until the PVA bag starts to dissolve in water.

To use this method, take the largest PVA bag, but do not fill it completely, as usual, fill it halfway. Then does everything as usual, only gluing PVA bag, make sure that it remains as much air as possible. After casting the package with all its contents will be on the surface of the water, until melted. The various feed components fall in different areas on the bottom.

Some near the bait, some quite far. The main thing is that we will not allow the concentration of the feed near the bait, as it turns in normal use PVA packages other anglers. This method allows you to create a more natural area for feeding of carp, in which fish will feel more secure.

I have noticed that it is necessary to keep the line is not taut, yet the sinker does not sink to the bottom. Stretched monofilament cause the sinker to fall to the bottom at an angle, whereby it touches the bottom of the side of the feed. Stretched monofilament can also send sinker towards algae, as a result of inventory may become tangled and all forces will be wasted.

Always try to use a combination of crushed boilies, so will form particles with a different shape. This will cause them to fall to the bottom along different trajectories. They will be scattered randomly, that will help create a more effective presentation of the bait.

It is best to use this tactic in the shallow parts of the pond, and preferably in calm weather. Do not forget to use the PVA bags without perforation, otherwise all the air from the bag out, our method does not work.

Slowly sinking PVA bag

If the method is floating PVA bag does not fit into your way of catching, or does not meet the characteristics of the place of fishing, it is necessary to use a slowly sinking PVA bag.

This method differs from the previous one, where you place the snap-in PVA bag. Now you have to first prepare a bag with food and then impose it on the hook. Leaving sinker outside, it is free to omit it.

Methods of using PVA packets when fishing for carp

This method is ideal for situations where you want some free bait and feed fractions gently lay on top of soft bottom vegetation. Shipping free to drop below the bottom and the sting of the hook rests on the seaweed and trash. Bag will act as a parachute a few seconds, until melted near the bottom.

In order to make ready the PVA bag with food for this method, you need to fill out a little PVA bag, no more than half. Try to leave as much of the air as long as you seal it to have turned a pouch-like bag with chips, then it is likely to be swimming. You need to make a few packs at home, before fishing. To practice in advance and test them, whether they will float at what weight sinkers will start to sink.

You just have to pick a place on the pond and throw your snap. While PVA bag will melt entrained sinker to the bottom, the contents gradually dissipate around. The new method of bait presentation is created.

Using this method it is necessary to get used to do power throws. Catch only a short distance. Also, this method is suitable for the deeper parts of the pond, where you cannot use tactics floating PVA bag.

Balanced PVA bag

Method with a balanced package of PVA similar to the previous. It is designed so that the entire casing very slowly sank to the bottom. If PVA bag dissolves halfway to the bottom, the released particles of food are widely scattered around the bait.

We will achieve difference from the classical tactics of using the PVA bags. If we use one in folded or just thicker pouches, we will get a wonderful way to put a snap and food particles on the soft mud.

It will also look different from the conventional methods of using PVA as hard tooling will burrow into the mud, along with food and bait. When using a balanced snap a PVA bag, bait will gently lay on the surface of the sludge, and any carp swims easily notice it.

The idea is quite simple, you need only follow the instructions of the previous method, will only have to choose the desired weight of the load to the package went down very slowly.

You will definitely need to practice at home before you go on a fishing trip. Record the exact weight, quantity, size of the bait in the package, the size and weight of the elements snap (a hook, a sinker). Do all of this, every time perfectly balanced to create a PVA bag.

Using such tactics in shallow water at the bottom, covered with last year’s leaves on the mud is a good choice. This method will not work properly at greater depths, because PVA bag will melt much faster than the tackle reaches the bottom. I personally have never before used such tactics, but I’m sure it will work fine in some situations, when fishing for large carp cautious.

Using PVA packages instead of sinkers

If you think that lead sinkers may scare cautious carp, why not use the full feed instead of PVA bag?

Methods of using PVA packets

Usually we only need a sinker in order to be able to throw our snap a certain distance from the shore. But if we fill in a PVA bag of ten or more boilies, we do not need a load weight, as the weight of a food package is enough to throw a snap-on 60 – 80 yards.

To counteract the lack of weight, this method may require the use of very sharp hooks, and perhaps some other way to achieve effective penetration of the hook in his lip carp, when he will take the bait.

I thought, why not use bait as the extra weight? Hard baits can be strung on a leash; they will further attract fish, and give some weight snap. In this case, be prepared for constant twitching of line when the fish will attempt to take baits, strung on twine. In this method, you may have trouble catching on uneven bottom, or if there is over at the pond.

Catching carp without nozzle

Another new tactical idea is to place the package in a PVA with feed lead with a hook, without any nozzle. The idea is that when carp will ‘vacuum’ with the feed section, it is required to suck with it the hook because it is the lightest fraction in the feed. You may want to try this method.

I bet that no one else is doing it. In this uniqueness of all these methods! And that’s why we have a chance to catch the most cautious carp captured using PVA bags.
